The Magic Food Bus
Inside Relish Food Hall · Louisville, CO

We're a family, and we cook everything from scratch.

We met in a restaurant kitchen seventeen years ago. In 2018 we bought a school bus and spent a year and a half turning it into one. Now you'll find us at Relish Food Hall, cooking smashburgers, crispy chicken, gyros, and a different special every week. Gluten-free and vegan options too.

This Week's Magic

Something different every week

The special changes every week. We've done gyros, firecracker dogs, and a run of Italian and Mediterranean plates. Whatever's on right now is up on Instagram.

Trained chefs, food-hall counter

Fine-dining training. A food-hall counter.

Gary trained at Johnson & Wales and learned high-end cooking under a chef from the Culinary Olympic team. We could be plating in a white-tablecloth dining room. We'd rather hand you a smashburger that tastes like we are.

Our story

We built our kitchen out of a school bus

We met in a restaurant 17 years ago. In 2018 we bought a school bus and spent 18 months turning it into a working kitchen, then took a leap of faith and rolled it onto the road in 2020. We named it after the show Ashley loved as a kid, The Magic School Bus. We cook the same way at Relish today.
